Junior Epee Classes Are On Saturdays

The Junior Epee Classes will be meeting on Saturdays in the spring semester.  The listing on the DC Department of Parks and Recreation's registration website is incorrect.  They have been requested to make corrections to their website. Beginning Junior Epee 11:00am-12:00pm Intermediate Junior Epee 1:00pm-2:00pm Depending on the number of students, the Beginning Junior Epee may have two sections, one meeting at 11:00am-12:00pm, the other at 12:00pm-1:00pm.

No Fencing Sat, Jan 18 & Mon, Jan 20

Because of the Capitol Clash Tournament at the Gaylord Convention Center in National Harbor, MD we will not have fencing club practice on Saturday, January 18.  We have 12 CCFC fencers competing in the tournament on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  Come watch the tournament! Live Results There is no fencing on Monday, Martin Luther King Holiday.  The Community Center will be closed for the federal holiday.

Foil Group Classes to Start Wed, Jan 8

Beginning Foil and Intermediate Foil group classes will begin on Wednesday, January 8.  The Beginning Foil Class will meet 6:00pm-7:00pm.  The Intermediate Foil Class will be 7:00pm-8:00pm.  Fencing Club practice on Wednesdays will be 8:00pm-9:30pm. No Fencing Today, Mon, Dec 16

Because Montgomery County Public Schools have now closed for the day because of the weather, there will be no fencing private lessons or club practice today, Monday, December 16. Remember, our weather cancellation policy follows that of the Montgomery County Public Schools.  Should MCPS close schools for the day, dismiss early, or cancel evening activities DUE TO WEATHER, then we will not have fencing classes, private lessons or practice.

Register NOW for Winter Group Classes!

Group classes are scheduled to start in January. Congratulations to CCFC fencer Bettie Graham who returned from the December NAC in Salt Lake City, UT with two medals, a 7th place in Veteran-70+ Women's Foil and a 5th place in Veteran-70+ Women's Epee. Group Classes Begin This Week

Register now for group fencing classes for adults (age 13+) and kids (ages 8 to 12). Classes for adults will begin on Wednesday, October 23.
