The Junior Epee Classes will be meeting on Saturdays in the spring semester. The listing on the DC Department of Parks and Recreation's registration website is incorrect. They have been requested to make corrections to their website. Beginning Junior Epee 11:00am-12:00pm Intermediate Junior Epee 1:00pm-2:00pm Depending on the number of students, the Beginning Junior Epee may have two sections, one meeting at 11:00am-12:00pm, the other at 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Because of the Capitol Clash Tournament at the Gaylord Convention Center in National Harbor, MD we will not have fencing club practice on Saturday, January 18. Beginning Foil and Intermediate Foil group classes will begin on Wednesday, January 8. The Beginning Foil Class will meet 6:00pm-7:00pm. The Intermediate Foil Class will be 7:00pm-8:00pm. Because Montgomery County Public Schools will be closing early and canceling evening activities because of the weather conditions, there will be no private lessons or CCFC club practice tonight, Tuesday, January 7.
Because Montgomery County Public Schools have now closed for the day because of the weather, there will be no fencing private lessons or club practice today, Monday, December 16. Remember, our weather cancellation policy follows that of the Montgomery County Public Schools. Should MCPS close schools for the day, dismiss early, or cancel evening activities DUE TO WEATHER, then we will not have fencing classes, private lessons or practice.
Group classes are scheduled to start in January. The Junior Epee Program (ages 8 to 12) will begin on Saturday, January 25. The first Beginning Junior Epee class will meet at 11:00am. Register now for group fencing classes for adults (age 13+) and kids (ages 8 to 12). Classes for adults will begin on Wednesday, October 23.
