The fencing classes that were scheduled to begin this week have been delayed by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation as they are not yet able to issue contracts to the instructors of all of their programs. Registration is now open for both the summer and fall programs. The Junior Epee Club (for those who have already taken a Junior Epee Beginning or Intermediate Class) summer session begins on Tuesday, August 7, 6:30pm-7:30pm. During August the summer Junior Epee Club will meet only on Tuesday evenings. After Labor Day, the summer Junior Epee Club will meet twice a week, Tuesday evenings and Saturdays, 2:00pm-3:30pm. Beginning and intermediate junior epee classes and fencing club practice will be held on Saturday, May 26. There will be no fencing club practice or private lessons on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
The Beginning Junior Epee Class, which met for the first time on Saturday, May 5, will be meeting at 12:00pm-1:00pm for the rest of the spring semester. The Intermediate Junior Epee Class is on Saturdays at 1:00pm-2:00pm. And the Junior Epee Club (for those who have already taken at least one class) practices twice a week on Tuesdays, 6:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays, 2:00pm-3:30pm.
