Kat Holmes, 6-0 in Pool, Advances to 2nd Day at World Championships

Former CCFC fencer and Olympian Kat Holmes finished 6-0 in the first round of pools at the 2018 World Championships in Wuxi, China.  She received only 7 touches against her finishing at first seed.

The top 16 out of pools advance to the second day of the Championships joining 16 top FIE point holders.  The other fencers compete in a direct elimination and the top 32 from the DE will join the other 32 fencers in the second day of competition to be held on Sunday, July 22, 9:00am (9:00pm Saturday eastern time).
