Because of the Capitol Clash Tournament at the Gaylord Convention Center in National Harbor, MD we will not have fencing club practice on Saturday, January 18. We have 12 CCFC fencers competing in the tournament on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Come watch the tournament! Live Results There is no fencing on Monday, Martin Luther King Holiday. The Community Center will be closed for the federal holiday.
Beginning Foil and Intermediate Foil group classes will begin on Wednesday, January 8. The Beginning Foil Class will meet 6:00pm-7:00pm. The Intermediate Foil Class will be 7:00pm-8:00pm. Fencing Club practice on Wednesdays will be 8:00pm-9:30pm. There is still an opportunity for students to register. Please register online at DC Department of Parks and Recreation's website.
Because Montgomery County Public Schools will be closing early and canceling evening activities because of the weather conditions, there will be no private lessons or CCFC club practice tonight, Tuesday, January 7.
